The Ansaldo Energia Group is one of the world leaders in power generation. Its core business is the supply and service of components and technological solutions for power generation with rotating machines. The company designs and manufactures turbines and generators and takes care of their service and continuous improvement. Headquartered in Genoa, the Group employs over 3,200 people and has a strong international presence thanks to its more than 30 offices around the world. Ansaldo Energia contributes to the decarbonisation process. Its turbogas fleet is already capable to burn between 40% and 70% hydrogen, with the aim of reaching 100% by 2030. The subsidiary Ansaldo Nucleare covers all activities in the sector, from the production of critical high-tech components to decommissioning, from waste management to fusion. It is a key player in the development of Small Modular Reactors and Generation IV reactors. Established in 2021, the subsidiary Ansaldo Green Tech develops technologies for energy transition. It offers the market microturbines for the widespread production of electricity and is working on a new generation of electrolysers to produce hydrogen.
